Remote Play on Azure
Hi everyone,

I'm trying out Remote Play on a GPU-enabled instance in Azure (NV16as_v4, with half of a AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 board, running Windows Server 2019 since I don't have a Windows 10 license to use). When trying to start a game (DOOM 2016), most of the time it fails to start, with the streaming_log.txt file showing the following most of the time:

[2020-08-29 16:09:16] Streamed game has created a window
[2020-08-29 16:09:16] Bringing streamed game to foreground - failed

It managed to start once, but apparently on the wrong display device, since it started on a 720 x 480 resolution and complaining about no GPUs present. RDP will start the right display, so its not a driver issue, although the mouse will not work correctly in this case. I have similar problems with Parsec, so I suspect it's due to some issue in the Windows config itself.

Any suggestions about solving this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance!!!!!

I tried to run Parsec in a NV4as_v4 precisely due to the mouse problems that you mention (it's not grabbed in exclusive mode and I cannot move the camera around in my game, although menus work fine), and I get error -15000 (problems with the GPU). I verified that I cannot install other drivers than the official ones by Microsoft for their Azure MI25 instances.
