No, looks like it indeed has uATX PSU, you cant fit ATX size 700W PSU in there. Now I see why they sell it so freaking cheap. Really stupid engineering solution.
Knowing HP it'll be extremely low quality. All of the parts will be.
Same for the stock cooler, while they can get a bit noisy, they work fine for keeping the chip at safe temps and it shouldn't throttle, it's not like Intel chips run anywhere near their limits which is why the K variants have such huge overclocking headroom compared to amd ryzen which only have a little headroom for overclocking.
I doubt there'd be space for an aftermarket cooler. Again the CPU isn't the worry here, it's thge GTX1060 that would overheat. And there's nothing you could do to fix that, it's just bad design.
Funny enough, mine is working great to this day with only a ram upgrade, but even that was only like two months ago. The ceiling is pretty low at ddr4-2400 limits and 16gb but it's better than none. I have run modern games since I've gotten it, and the only thing I can't do is max graphics in multiplayer games or shooters? but i don't much care for playing those as often as i do anything else like RPGs. This thing ran BDO great for a while, streamed on wifi, etc.
Thing was a fantastic deal. Only now even considering upgrading just because I need more space in the case.
They need to bury these.
