a reason. I used AMD Clean up utility in safe mode then AMD GPU Drivers install to uninstall in normal mode - That's what was offered via the prompts. That's just the way it worked out.
These cleanup utilities from the manufacturer are usually outdated crap which is getting very little support (via ao updates). DDU is superior to those cleanup tools. The cleaners from the manufacturer half of the time don't work right and don't fix your issue, those things are simply rushed pieces of software and the manufacturer doesn't care if it works good or not they only made it because makes them look like they care about their customers.
The most common reason Drivers break is because folks are allowing Windows Updates to handle those, disable this, especially when it is a Gaming PC.
If you download/install very latest AMD Drivers and it turns out to still be an issue, redo the DDU wiping and then use a slightly older Driver. Trusted places like GURU3D.com archieve them > http://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-ati-catalyst-vista-win-7.html
