I have a NVIDIA 940 MX what graphics card should I upgrade too that will not break the bank but handle games like RIse of Tomb Raider and Arkham Knight?
Plz Help I am a rookie in the computer gaming world.

You cannot upgrade the GPU on a laptop. Only in certain very specific modern ones.
some specific laptop allow to install external graphic cards but it's so expensive you might as well just save your money for a new machine.

And generally laptops with that feature are so expensive that you pretty much can't have one and not be aware of it. But yeah upgrades were always bonkers expensive in those cases because only a few people bought that laptops and of those people only a few ever actually upgraded. And generally they didn't come with entry level GPUs anyway.

Although if you have a Thunderbolt port there are external graphics enclosures where you throw a desktop graphics card in there and attach it via thunderbolt. But but without your specs, and or laptop brand/model it's just a guess whether you have that option or not OP.

Only thing that'll increase your gaming experience is a new PC/Laptop that doesnt suck.
