Overclocking i5-7600k
Well.. I decided to try some overclocking using the Kabylake overclocking guide from Gigabyte which has 2 'difficulties', the simple and easy way and the 'advanced' way. Obviously, since I'm new to the OC I took the simple and easy way which is just choose between presets and stress test.
I succesfully got to 4.6 with all 4 cores at 100% load. When I'm checking somewhat further on in the guide, they talk about changing the Vcore which I perfectly understand BUT I have the idea with those 'easy and simple settings' the Vcore is taken care off, am I right?

When checking core temp the VID goes up to 2.2xxx v with constant load at 100%. Does that mean the Vcore is fine? Or do I have to tweak those settings up a bit?
As far as I know and understand is that tweaking the Vcore is necessary when one of the cores doesn't hit the 100% at stress testing, right?

Thanks so far!

If it's a preset overclock, it should use automatic vcore, which will very likely be much higher than what is actually needed. If you really want to get into overclocking, I'd recommend reading the advanced/manual way in the guide because you will get a better overclock. Vcore tweaking is necessary to achieve stability with an overclock, doesn't have anything to do with one core reaching 100% utilization.

Here's a good guide and database of people's results: http://www.overclock.net/forum/5-intel-cpus/1621347-kaby-lake-overclocking-guide-statistics.html
The quick and easy ways, same as all motherboards default Vcore will always be set high. Very few chips will actually need a Vcore this high to reach a stable overclock at set speed. They set it high so everything works for all users otherwise if they set it lower 10/20/30%+ might not beable to run at all.

Even if you are running stock speeds, including Turbo Boost, you should lower you Vcore. Do it gradually to find what is stable. Your CPU will start to run cooler with a lower Vcore meaning less noise from you cooling system too.
