Kolink PSU How Reliable are they?
Kolink seems to be the cheapest.

I don’t want to spend much on a PSU, but I don’t want to buy a unsafe one. (NO FIRE HAZARD)

Are they a good brand? If not, any recommendations?

I don’t need many watts, any low wattage should do just fine. 500W max, 80W min.

This isn’t going to be powering much, just a single graphics card for a laptop, and a 3.5 HDD occasionally.

I would check PCPartpicker for the company...and it's ratings. If you feel a bad rating has a valid review attached to it, don't use that PSU.

Look up user reviews on Amazon or NewEgg then.

Never heard of something like this meaning some bonfire creation kit instead of PSU.

Well, from what I could find, it's a popular, cheap PSU used by cryptocurrrency mining operations.

That tells me one thing...avoid using them. The PSU's they use are meant to be cheap and low quality so that it costs less to replace them when one breaks.

I myself own an Antec Edge 750...and it's fully modular. Corsair makes some good ones as well.

Kolink PSU's are what I would call middle of the road PSU's, they are "ok" and arn't some no name grey box firestarter PSU but they arn't in the same league as FPS, Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA, FSP etc, etc, etc.

If you just want a cheap PSU to last 2 or 3 years it will do but if you plan on keeping the system longer than 3 years, are building a high end rig or are concerned with electricity usage/consumption/efficiency, then don't skimp on a PSU.
Bad. Get a reputable brand such as EVGA, Seasonic etc.

Post a link to the power supply you're talking about.

To me, there are a couple of items you need to look at. The first is the amount of power it can deliver on the +12V rail. A lot of cheap power supplies advertise a total power capacity, but most of that power can be on the other voltage rails. The second is the warranty period. If it has a short warranty period, you can bet it isn't manufactured to high standards.
