Why not? Is it the parts or?

i think this is not a good deal for $1699 unless you get a free good monitor with it
I see, so your pretty much stuck with bestbuy. That's some kind of special friend to let you use his credit to finance a $,1700 PC lol. Is that a good deal? No, not really. But then again GPU's like the 1080 are hitting $1,000+ right now. It's a real tough market right now and if your limited to BestBuy then get that PC. You will be more then happy, I promise.

Could you get a better deal elsewhere? There's always a better deal somewhere but if your limited go for it. Get a warranty, don't open it up to ♥♥♥♥ around with it and be happy!

What the heck? Add $70 for Cryorig H7? :steammocking: Might as well get Noctua NH-D15S then for $20 more.
1,000$ for GTX 1080? Not really. Maybe the Ti but the normal one still start at 630$

I was looking to finance this PC from Bestbuy with my friends account

financing with your friend's account is a bad idea. not sure why he is allowing you to do that. overall i'd say the less expensive 1070 ti is a better option because you can put the savings towards a monitor.

They are $799 and up
$635 is the 1080 Mini, which folks should avoid
Ok so the components are high end? Is there anything you would do to improve

Well you see I’m upgrading from a 1070 laptop, I wanna get into desktop gaming for multiple reasons. But If I’m going for a desktop I think the 1080 is great because I do have a display but it’s not AS good..so I would wait like a month then buy a different monitor. The dell you showed actually is perfect

how about thinking smaller and getting a nice ryzen apu with integated vega graphics. $165 or so. Total computer would be $500 or less and you can replace cpu later and add a nice gpu when price drops in a year

Well then I would downgrading, I have a 1070 laptop and I want to get into desktop gaming now for a lot of reasons.

You have to read their warranty. I would like to guess any upgrades you make would have to be done by them, if they allow it, to still be covered under a warranty.

By them? So I can’t upgrade it by just ordering parts off amazon? Also if I were to improve something what would it be

Why does that ever matter? The parts themselves have their own warranty.
And working on the system yourself does not void the warranty.
Only damages, mis-use, abuse, modifications; and alike are what voids warranty.

I don't know how these prebuilt deals work. I never had one so I have no idea about the warranties with them. But I would imagine they wouldn't want you opening it up and changing stuff out but maybe who knows. Read up or ask about that stuff before buying.
Yea I’ll just ask

By modifications you mean upgrades? Like RAM, HDD or SSD, etc

Yeah. Like say you wanted to put in different RAM. I don't know if it voids any kinda of warranty with iBUYPOWER if you swap out your RAM. Just find out the detail about as far as that kinda stuff goes before buying.
