Yes, that is a really good pc for gaming. Of course, if you built it seperately you might be able to save a few $$ but due to the GPU crisis going on I doubt it. So yeah, if you got the money and do not want to build yourself that'll do.

I have no idea, I don’t know about PSU, motherboards, or powersupplies. All I know is just what good specs are and hard drives and stuff..I’ve been only dealing with laptops so

Yea the GTX 1080 is like 1200? Do you think I should buy a 4K monitor or just a FHD? Also if I buy a 4K monitor and use it for 1080p or 1440p sometimes will it look just as good as a 1080p or 1440p monitor?

a 1440p (2k) monitor is suitable with Gtx1080 GPU, but you can go for 1080p monitor if you like high FPS or future proofing.

you should avoid 4k monitors though, every monitor has a native resolution, the picture quality will decrease if you drop from it.
Means if there are 2 same size monitors ( suppose 24'') , and one is 4k and the other one is 1080p. When both running at 1080p resolution, the 4k monitor will look bad / more blurry, because that's not its NATIVE resolution. Even if both are same size display.
Because of how their Pixel Layout works.

Yea that’s what I thought, makes sense. Do you think that a 1440p would do be better? I’ll be playing all the latest games and already have over a hundred games most of them are either demanding or really demanding. I could get a secondary 4K monitor JUST for 4K games that run perfectly like doom

i would get a nice 1440p g-sync monitor. you're looking at $400+ for the monitor.

another option i saw was this. not quite as good as a 7700k/1080, but still very capable at that resolution for $300 less.

How big of a jump is it from a 1070ti to a 1080? I was thinking getting the ASUS VG248QE 24" Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz 1ms HDMI Gaming Monitor as a primary and a ASUS MG24UQ 4K/UHD 23.6-Inch FreeSync Gaming Monitor just for 4K gaming, I’m aware that’s Freesync but it’s the only monitor that looked similar in design and length to the other

GTX1080 is not powerfull enough to pull 4k gaming at High settings in NEW demanding games.
You need a ''GTX1080 Ti'' for that.

No, no offense but with that statement you only know what good specs are on the paper. If you have indepth knowledge then you will look deeper and find the real issue.

16GB RAM

Doesnt sound bad because 16GB right? Well there are Samsung & Hynix chips. Samsung is much better then Hynix at the same frequency. Getting Hynix for high end gaming is a poor choice but I can garuntee you that is what you'll get. Also no frequency stated. Most pre-builds come with slow DDR4-2133 which also often comes with high latency of CL16-17. Good DDR4 reaches at that frequency CL13 at least CL14. Also most prebuild RAM comes without heatspread which is not just a cometic but helps with keeping the RAM a bit colder at constant usage while maintaning performance. And good RAM (which you wont get here) from G.Skill, Corsair, Kingston or Crucial would come with lifetime warranty. Just because it is 16GB doesnt make it good RAM.

1TB HDD & 240GB SSD

Well we have a lot of trash companies for SSD's incl Adata whicha re cheap and much more non name products. 240 Could be Intenso which are ok but you dont know what you get. What I can tell you tho, you wont get a fast Samsung SSD because they dont come in 240GB versions. So you proberly get a cheap trash SSD which also could break faster and is not as reliable. Also slower then the Good SSD's like Samsung or WD. I ahve ssen SSD's that can barely get read speeds of ~300MB/s while a fast 10TB WD Gold HDD can already achieve ~270-280MB/s read speed. Nothing close to the good SSD's with 550MB/s read speed.
Same for the HDD you dont know what you get. Even if they say 7200RPM then it could be everything and just 7200RPM does not mean that it will be fast. The Seagate Barracuda is at 7200RPM just as fast as the WD Blue 2TB (green) with 5400RPM.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8GB

Must be good ebcause it is a GTX 1080? Not necessarily. With that name you could get a loud and running hot Founders Edition. Also the only version that does not come with 2x 6+2 connectors. So you get a slower card then the top brands, louder because of blower style cooler and running hot. Ive seen many high end FE's that run so hot that they thermal throttled...FE are greta for watercooling them when you dont have those downsides. But then the Case wont allow for it mostlikely.

Motherboard & PSU

They dont even tell you this. Proberly trash china brand PSU and a H or B Motherboard. Might even a H170 or B150 Motherboard where you cant overclock and only run RAM at lowest speed. Could be a Motherboard with only 2 DIMM slots. COuld be a mATX motherboard you can only connect your GPU too and how no free extension slots to connect more then this. Could be literally everything.

Just because the data sheet sound in the first spot nice, doesnt mean it really is. Can be good, can be absolut trash you want to replace as soon as you can (despite the CPU). YOu will ahve a hard time to find here somebody who said he has a pre build and is not disappoitned sooner or later. Most hardware issues you find here incl. no upgradebility is connected to a pre-build. And every specialist advises against pre-builds. There is a pattern right there you can think about or ignore it.

WTF. The 7700K is a monster CPU for starters and the 1080 is slightly faster than a 1070 Ti.

The higher end iBUYPOWER PC's have somewhat better components. The only mystery items here is the PSU which appears to be a no name one & I have couldn't find any info on what the SSD/HHD are. Besides that, everything else looks decent.

If I was you and wasn't capable of building a pc let alone knowing all there is to know I would buy this if I had the funds. Don't mess with any parts as I would imagine the come under a warranty.

If that is your price range you could always try looking for something similar on ebay, microcenter etc etc etc etc....

It's ALWAYS better to use quality name brand parts but I have used no name PSU's in the past with no problems. Typically they just do not last as long as the brand name ones.

Better yet, just tell us what is the absolute max amount of $$$ you can spend and I'm sure we could find you some other options.

So you think parts are high end or good enough for what the system has? Also I was looking to finance this PC from Bestbuy with my friends account so I don’t think he would be able to finance elsewhere, however if I can find a stronger option for around 1700 from bestbuy then why not..as long as they ship it. I wanted to ask him if I was able to finance a PC from Maingear or Origin
