GTX 1060 3GB vs 4GB AMD R7 370

Why is GTX 1060 3GB better than 4GB AMD R7 370 ?

Shouldnt a graphics card with 4GB be overall better than a graphics card with 3GB

You need to compare the 3 gb 1060 vs a 4 gb 480 for equal footing for the most part for this generation of cards.

There are a lot more factors then simply the amount of vram.

it is about (gpu) efficiency... similarly, intel cpu =/= amd cpu

Between those GPUs the 1060 3G beats that R7 by quite a bit, as that site shows.

But even the 1050 Ti most likely beats it as well.

And no, VRAM amount doesnt really play a part in a GPUs performance as a whole. The R7 wasnt all that great to begin with.

R7 370 is simply a lesser gpu.

Some 1050/1060 3GB benchies ^, again the r7 370 is simply out classed by the 1060 3GB

AMD RX 470 4 GB or NVIDIA GTX 1050ti 4GB or NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB
check specs of the games you would run and if those GPUs matches benchmarks take what you prefer.
Personally I think the RX470 is not bad, the best probably for price/performance but I have not experience whit AMD software/support, I have a GTX 760 and NVIDIA softwares are good.
