For example, going to [My Computer] and right mouse clicking the disc drive -> [Eject]

Then there probably isn't a disc drive.

I'm sure you can look up some specs sheet to confirm either way, and view whatever manuals it came with.

Of course there is, why would a cd come with it

Not exactly a guarantee.

If you don't see a disc tray with an eject button or the disc drive under My Computer, I'd lean more towards the no.

And as I said, check up the model.

I'd say it has a pretty clear button on the right side?

I'd probably look for the model's drivers online just in case though. (or VD, whichever it is)

Easy comparison
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/compare/ASUS_GL753VE_vs_ASUS_GL753VD/BHitems/1304025-REG_1304024-REG

VE has an SSD and a 1050 Ti; VD only has a 7200rpm HDD and a 1050. Both should have an optical drive.

Hello guys. I would need some help too. I have the same laptop (Asus gl753VE), and the same problem. I checked the specs. and it has a cd/dvd drive. As my eyes saw, there is NO BUTTON. But the real problem is, I can't see it in windows, as it is not even there. Any ideas?

Of course i tried, but I didn't find a driver called cd/dvd driver. Or what should it be called? It's hard to find the right driver if I am not sure what I am looking for... xD

CD/DVD drives don't need specific drivers. The OS already has all the drivers it needs to utilize an optical drive.

Just because you got a cd doesnt mean it came with a optical drive. most of the time these are options that can be added to the build at purchase
