I have exactly the same problem. My Temp 4 sensor randomly flicks between 0 and 128 celsius. Which is obviously false - air cooled PCs can't reach freezing temperatures in gaming normal conditions.
Yea no crap... is this in *C or *F ???????????????????????
If the temp reading is in Celsius it's way too hot. Install more case fans.
No then it's just a faulty sensor is all.
Try other apps too; such as OpenHardwareMonitor, MSI Afterburner, etc.
Which as have been said, its merely a faulty reading.
If it were truly 118C the motherboard wouldnt be working anymore
