Should i go with the 960 evo 250gb or the MX500 500gb?
Yeah.

I already have a 2tb hdd and a 500gb ssd. I want to get into some 1440p and 4k video editing, but i dont know which one to pick

Ill definitely have enough space for my games, but this is a case between faster storage vs more storage.

But, how much faster is a nvme than a sata for 4k video recording and editing? Will i still have the benefits of high reads and writes if i exporg to the hdd?

well it is slightly slower then the MX500 and of course noticably slower then a 960. SanDisk it self doesnt stake a TBW for their SSD which is not a best advertising imo. However it was calculated by some PC magazines that teh 250GB version has a TBW of about 70TB. Makign it also the worst of all modells and nothing up to the TBW of an Intel Optane or 960 Pro.
