Which CPU can provide 500+ fps for CSGO?
I5-9400f can get 250+ fps in csgo, I really curious about: Which CPU can provide 500+ fps for CSGO?:csgoa::csgocross::csgogun::csgox:
Can any guys help me this question?

It seems that CSGO doesn't depend on the numbers of CPU core, the basic frequency of CPU is the key point, right?
Short answer - correct. CS:GO loads around 70% of quad-core CPU, so the per-core performance is the only important thing as long as CPU has at least 4 cores.
Long answer - frequency is just one of many things that affect performance, so while higher frequency is better than lower, it doesn't directly reflect the performance. Frequency tells how much cycles CPU can do per second, so say 4GHz means CPU can do something 4 billion times per second. But those cycles might or might not be of value to end user. For example, whenever CPU has no data to process - it spends its cycles re-calculating things it previously did in case results of those calculations might be of value. But they actually might not, and those cycles just get wasted. So what you need is not just high frequency, but also modern and optimised architecture (9th gen Intel is the best you can currently buy) and also high speed low latency RAM. RAM is always slower than CPU cache, so depending on the task it might affect CPU performance greatly. Dual channel memory setup is also a must for a gaming PC.
So, basically, 4+ core overclockable Intel CPU and 3000MHz CL15 memory is the way to go. If you can get higher freq or lower latency for your memory - awesome. i3-9350KF is currently the best thing to get for CS:GO, but this will be a side-grade for any other game out there. If I were you - I'd wait for 10th gen overclockable i3. Some info says it will be 4c/8t, which is basically what i7 was just few years ago.
But also try to play around with RTSS framerate limiting. From my personal experience, CS:GO has got frametime issues at any framerate, it's just how the game is. It's not noticeable at 300+ FPS, but you can achieve perfectly smooth gameplay even at 60fps using the proper framerate limiter. Maybe it's not 500FPS that you need, but stable and smooth 250.

the fattest.
by the way: i only had 300 fps maximum. there is that fps lock for this.!?

maybe look it up?
i dont get it!? do you have to unlock the fps lock?
Yes, CSGO has an FPS lock of 300 by default, you can change it using a command (fps_limit x if memory serves), you can set it to anything you want, or 0 for no limit.
500fps... Quite the flex. Why do you want such a high fps?

He probably doesn't know
the question is: does he need it!?

higher fps takes more cpu and more gpu
Leaving your fps uncapped is a waste of performance, lock it to your monitors refresh rate.

Currently no monitor will use that many frames.

Considering 360Hz monitors are already out - I bet there already are experimental one capable of 500Hz.
But since frametime difference between 250fps and 500fps is just 2ms - there ain't a person who would ever benefit from it. 240Hz seems to be the adequate maximum, and even then only to those few whose brains can process the data that fast. It seems OP is just another bad dancer ready to blame anything but his low skill.

Some games benefit from higher FPS, so capping FPS to refresh rate isn't good for those.
Or if you have a 60/75hz monitor, using double the FPS vastly improves the feel.

There is no 'one fits all' for FPS limiting.

i always try: v-sync on or default. it is a mystery to me. sometimes v-sync runs smoother and in some other cases v-sync off runs smoother(in 1080p/ 60 hz). i cannot say what this is. its a weird thing. what do you say?
CSGO does not go over 300 FPS. This can be attained pretty simply. If you want 300 fps in 4k get NVLINK TITAN RTX

It does, you have to change the limit in the console.

at any rate there's no point.
