Yet another reason why you shouldn't have bothered to change your motherboard. Would've been working fine had you left it alone.
Next time, remember the adage: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
And computers are still more useful because consoles are only designed for gaming, while PC under Windows can run almost anything. Consoles are basically just for people that can't afford to build and manage their own computer, because they're built to last a few years before being replaced by the next big fab in console gaming. Your PC can last easily twice as long as long as it's good enough for you, before needing an upgrade.
