If you don't care about security go with Windows 7. If you do then I'd dual boot. Run 7 when you want to play the games and 10 when you don't. Or even just have the seven one running off a external usb drive. If they're old small games, performance over usb shouldn't be an issue.
then 7 easy
If they're that old might want to consider dual booting xp and 7
I would think XP could run perfectly on a 8350. Probably want to go 64 bit but I would think it could be done. Matter of fact I actually have my m5a99fx and 8350 sitting on my entertainment center right now. I might end up putting it inside a case and seeing if I could put Xp on there sometime this week. Matter of fact I just looked it up and that motherboard has a bunch of xp drivers by ASUS. Try looking your stuff up.
oh ssd. uhmm. can't you just find a hdd somewhere?
Yeah, they are cheap as heck.
What cpu and gpu will you be using?
