Try to play JOURNEY in Parallels VM

I was trying to install and play JOURNEY using the Parallels VM in my macbook. It's ok to install the game, however, there is always an error "Unable to create D3D device. A minimum of feature level 11.0 is required to initialize the render device".

I have double checked the system in the virtual machine is up-to-date (Win 10 64bit). It has DX 12 but the feature level is 10.0. Any idea how to update the feature level?

The virtual graphics adapter has to support DirectX11 to use it. Parallels only supports up to DirectX10.

what gpu?

dxlevel is determined by the os and hardware
windows 10 can have dx12 installed, but with an older gpu thats only 8.1 it will be limited to 8.1 by the gpus dxlevel
the vm will also have dx limits

Update your GPU driver. If that doesn't work, chances are the GPU doesn't support DX12's feature level 10.

Thx! So it means I can't play JOURNEY in Parallels at all.
