Samsung Odyssey G9 or LG CX 48inch

Just curious of others opinions. I just got the Odyssey G9. I picked it up at Microcenter before they started pulling off the shelf. Luckily I don't have any of the issues that caused them to be pulled (QC). I upgraded from the CRG9 (the upgrades are minor). I love the monitor and feel its future proof but the monitor is too much for any current machine to max out newer games. I have a 2080ti and cant max out games even @ 120hrz. Maybe when the 3000 series hits but I even doubt it then.

I am still within my return period and I am contemplating the LG CX 48inch tv as my monitor. I'm not a competitive gamer and 120hrz is plenty good for what I play. I saw one at Microcenter and watched some videos and I will say my god that picture is better than any other Ive seen.

I don't want to go back to 34inch as 49inch has spoiled me. Love the wrap around immersion of the curved Odyssey but some games have a hard time cropping or stretching to make it look good. The LG would be limited to the peripheral vision of 16:9.

Just wanted some others thoughts.

1000 curve to much moving fast give awkward texture displayment/ distortion of immage, it's also freesync monitor it's only Gsync compatible not sure if that makes a difference it seems in many area's it performs poorly only resfresh rate is top notch. Plenty of good reviewers before buying crap(because price is high it's crap if it was lower maybe purchase is ok)

Seen few reviews so i will never buy Odyssey serie samsung did a poor job on G series, seems LG is better.
