CPU question
i have ryzen 3 1200 on ab350m-hdv motherboard. I am looking to upgrade to ryzen 5 3600x. So my question is, is it possible for that to happen? Are the motherboard and the cpu compatible i know they are the same socket but...

If you update your BIOS to the latest version it will support the 3600.

Carefully read the warnings, you have a Summit Ridge CPU. If you update to the latest BIOS version your current CPU will no longer work on this board. So you should update only right before swapping the CPU.

Check your motherboard manufacturer page if they have BIOS updates for Matisse CPUs, it`s not gone run with default BIOS.
