Outemu or Cherry switches?

I recently purchased a Redragon k580 Vata, a $60 mechanical keyboard that uses outemu blue switches opposed to the cherry switches. Most people say the cherries are better due to their better quality build but some say outemu's are better. I'm quite new to the mechanical keyboard scene and this is technically my first "premium" keyboard i've ever purchased. What's the actual difference between an outemu and cherry?

Premium switches like Cherry, Razer, and Romer-G are more consistent but quality isn't that different. Clones like Kailh and Gateron are fine.

Pattern wise, nothing, they (Outemu) are clones of Cherry.

However Cherry's moulds are quite bad compared to the clones.
And they're overpriced, by 3x as much.

Don't get me wrong, Cherry switches are good, there's just better things around.

Best switches being Gateron (/Zealios - because Gateron make Zelios) then Kailh (/Razer - because Kalih make Razerr switches), then Outemu tied with Cherry.
Threy're both pretty bad, bit they're better than membrane.

You shouldn't feel disatisfied with what you bought though, A while back I got a K552 (Outemu blues) and it was a lovely board to type on, even if it had no wrist rest.

Sidenote;
Anyone that says Cherry switches are the best is a fanboy, Cherry may have designed and manifactured the switches for years, doesn't mean their quality is the best.

Gateron Clears are my personal favorite, it's one of the smoothest switches I've ever used. Lube them up beforehand and you're basically typing on feathers.
