Is a GTX 1650 good enough for VR?

I bought a gaming laptop with my stimulus check, and with talks of another one coming I'd like to get into VR. I see a lot of good headsets but I see conflicting reports about weather my GPU can support it. All the headsets I looked at say you need a GTX 1050 at least, and I assume mine beats that right? Other sites are saying that a GTX 1650 isn't good for VR. So I thought I would as here. I really want to get into VR Gaming, my only other alternative is getting a PS4 with a PSVR but I'd rather play on PC.

I just looked it up and they said it will support the current PSVR. :) Now I'm excited. Anyway thanks for explaining how all this stuff works. If I'm ever able to get out of poverty I'll have a much better idea what I'm looking for when it comes to gaming PCs now. I suppose time is on my side though because I'm only 37 and PCs have only gotten cheaper since I got my first one when I was 16. Maybe someday an awesome gaming rig won't be so expensive. :)
