You see these 2 comments scares me when I order from there lol.
I think those Amazon delivery person were trained to be quick and go so thats why they just toss our package, take a picture, and go. One of my amazon package had to be delivered to one of my parents business and they didnt even hear the amazon guy came in just a picture.
I'm not sure how old you are, or how new you are to the PC/hardware scene or to the existence of Newegg, but it's not some shady place. It's been one of the best go to places ordering PC hardware online for North America at least for around two decades (maybe more), before Amazon rose to prominence in that space really. If you have a Micro Center nearby, it'll probably be cheaper though, and with Amazon being a thing and brick and mortar stores not being it's only competition, it's not the de-facto place it once was, but it's not some shady place either.
As said before, I haven't purchased as much from recently, but I have ordered some mechanical hard drives from them (two this year, one a few years back) and they work great. I'd be iffy on ordering monitors/displays from them, but that's because I'm picky with those.
IMO, if it has what you need in stock and/or is the cheapest, it's a safe bet. If another place it, or has it cheaper, get it from the other place.
I know about PC stuff but I just dont want to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by their fees when returning stuff back to newegg. I heard different stuff being theyre the best when buying parts from them to they wouldnt replace their defective gpu. Guess ill find out once I start ordering parts for my PC
