Why is my DigitalStorm computer's performance getting slower?

alright so i have been downloading useful stuff in general for my computer, like for an example Sony Vegas Pro, Audacity, you name it, i only have Audacity just for developing games and it is a recording studio program, it is very useful but only right after i have downloaded these items my computer kinda went slower, like for an example the network is weird now so whenever i am downloading a game now i always see my computer being stuck on "966.5 KB/s" and then like ♥♥♥♥ing 10 seconds later it says "960.5 KB/s" and i am like what the hell?!, why is my computer acting up?!

and i was also trying to use Disk Cleanup earlier this morning, and the ♥♥♥♥ing thing wouldn't work because it was still trying to clean up my damn disk!, like damn! it was 50% and it wouldn't even move the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ green bar!, WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ IS MY COMPUTER ACTING ALL ♥♥♥♥♥♥ SINCE IT IS A POWERFUL GAMING COMPUTER?!, yeah gaming computer my ♥♥♥♥♥ this thing wouldn't even do anything and now i am experiencing lag when downloading ♥♥♥♥♥♥, please help me out i am so frustrated that my computer is being autistic please help me, my computer has aids or something because it is really acting up and i am so overwhelmed and worried for my poor gaming PC, since it won't even download things faster and isn't fast when i was cleaning up my damn disk.

People try to tell you, that if all you can afford for a computer is 3000$,
its
a) maybe 3 times more than necessary for a quite good machine,
and
b) you shouldnt end up with a 1050ti in that case

i know it kinda seems kinda bad ending up with 1050Ti i thought it was something better than that, it's kinda weird that it happened to me.

No need to get angry with those. They might know how to build a PC from a scratch for cheaper, but they've no idea there are people out there who'll pay twice the price to pick the best parts, assemble the PC, install the software and drivers, do the overclocking, test if everything works as it should under any conditions, deliver the thing to your door and provide extra warranty with free tech support in case something goes wrong. Which is, by the way, your case, so u might try to call them and they'll get u through all of this with patience and respect, else they're going to end up in Linus Sebastian videos lol. If your time is valuable - u'll save way more money not knowing ♥♥♥♥ and paying extra to someone else to know.
Now, that I'm a bit interested in what's wrong with the PC - u might want to try to roll your software state back to a restore point. Windows 10 creates those all the time, u just type "Restore" in seach and u'll figure it out. It includes all major changes to your software, and in many cases can easily bring back the "It was way faster" condition. Be aware that rolling back most likely will lead to some software missing that was installed after the restore point, tho it doesn't affect your personal files anyhow.

Make partitions, one own for os.
Steam on another, so you can restore os without any effect

Arguing about the PC being overpriced is not going to resolve the problem - try Malwarebytes free a run and see if it cleans up anything, it's a good start.

He's expecting $3000 worth of performance from what, thanks to the 1050TI, is effectively a $600 budget gaming PC. I'd say fixing that would solve his problem.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news OP, but on the upside, I actually think that given the advertising I saw, you can get your money back in small claims court. I think you'd be hard pressed to find an IT guy who doesn't consider this edition of that lineup false advertising. Just get some signed statements from two or more local IT shops/repair services.

It's literally criminal to sell that PC at that price with those statements.

As for not being able to afford more, you should be paying *less* and getting a whole lot more.

yes, but they do take a long time to answer though, since i got a decent coupon for 2 free games which are Final Fantasy XV, and Call of Duty Black Ops 4, but the codes never even worked, i've contacted them but they've stayed quiet over the week, >feelsbadman.

Shouldn't be that long. In fact, there must be a bunch of options to contact them, including telephone and VOIP calls. They won't be able to make u wait a week during the phone call.
And what comes to a graphics card everyone is raging about - it's like one of the easiest parts to replace, so u can get a new one whenever u feel u need it. GPU is mostly related to gaming performance, thus what u've got is a powerful workstation/rendering machine capable of decent gaming, not a gaming pc, or overpriced pc, or whatever else.

Download speeds affect how fast a game downloads in addition to being installed as Download rate plays a part in Read/Write speeds of a HDD/SSD for download/installing a game.

It all comes down to him not actually knowing how a PC works with regard to what hes actually trying to do with it.

In short
a Fast PC does not mean you will also have Fast Internet

Disk Cleanup CAN take time to finish depending on how much needs to be cleaned and the speed of the drive the OS is on. Its best to just leave it alone and not assume its finished just because the green bar isnt moving.
