Asus Strix Soar 7.1

So when i test the 7.1 sound in the windows built in tester it works flawlessly but when i try to listen to music on spotify or google chrome or try to play games it only plays sounds out of the front speakers, i dont know what to do and asus doesnt have any quick contact methods

how many speakers do you have? 2? Set it sound to stereo.

Dumb question: did you change the audio output settings in the games to 7.1?

i have the razer tiamat 7.1 v2 it has 5 speakers in each earcup

in razer synapse it doesnt give me any options to change sound mode just leds

i belive they are mixed in when i had the kraken all of the surround settings weere in synapse
