Corsair vs550 good?

I will not go higher than 65 for a psu.

Corsair CX used be low tier. While it was branded, had working protections and a 80+ rating, it used cheaper components and chinese SamXon capacitors. Was not not recommended for users who care a lot about their components, but generally was a much better choice as most chinabrands PSUs.

But i would go for a EVGA/Superflower, FSP Group or Seasonic.

Common guys i hear good reviews about cx series

I had a CX and it died in half year - the green version. The ones with grey sticker have better reputation, they are also a bit more expensive as greens. My current seasonic works 4 years straight.

A EVGA B would cost probably the same.

What would you recommend for a price under 65?

Evga b is also low-end trash like the vs.

But yaa.. I also have seasonic psu, never had any problems. 660xp2, running since 2012 👌

And I have a CX (the green model - THE HORROR!) And I have been running it for 2 years without any issues.

Im just going to buy cx 550 grey then👌

And im buying the non modulair version, because im afraid i plug in a wrong conector and blow up my system again(happens with my previous system).

Even this is like lego.

I would go with full or semi modular.. it's nice to have, a nice feature and keeps the pc 'clean of tons of cables'

Look at Corsair TXm or RMx
The CSm aren't too bad, usually on-sale.

VS or CX = junk

I use it too, it is good. I use GTX 750Ti, 16GB RAM and Core i7-4790K with no problem.

SOme of the evgas and corsairs like vs are rebadged not very high quality thats why

GOod evgas and corsairs r just as good as seasonic
