should the psu fan face up or down?
im ready to install my new psu and i dont know if the fan is supposed to face up or down?

in order for me to know do i have have to unplug everything from the mb first then pull out the psu? it seems impossible to pull out the psu cause it tugs on things and i cant reach my hand under in there to unplug stuff. more work oh well

Good summary of common mistakes regarding getting the build to power up correctly:

Any time I get a build having a boot / post problem I always remove everything off the board and stick with the bare-bones basics:

cpu+hsf / 1 stick ram / on-board IGP (or a known working low power PCIE GPU) / PSU (ATX 20+4 and CPU +12v ONLY) and the power-switch from the front panel header only.

Once you can get it working at this point, should be painless and any problems at this point are very easy to troubleshoot.
