Possible to change 1920x1200 to 1920x1080?
Hello! I have a 1920x1200 screen and a little while ago I decided to buy a PS4. I quickly noticed that 1080p is the maximum on the PS4 so it stretches out the screen for me. Does anyone know how I can have the black borders at the top and bottom instead of it being stretched out?
Thanks in advance.
Btw, I'm using a EliteDisplay E241i.

Look in the onboard menu system on the Monitor, it should have a setting for Aspect Ratio

I can't find a Aspect Ratio setting. The only options I have are:
Brightness
Contrast
Color
Image Control
OSD Control
Management
Language
Information
Factory Reset
Input Control
and Exit ofcourse.
Any idea?

HP EliteDisplay 241i

Is this monitor unable to have black borders? Do I need a different monitor so I won't have a stretched screen?

On the PC I never had an issue with 1920x1200. It is because Playstation 4 does not support 1080p and my monitor automatically stretches 1080p to 1200p. So nvidia can't change anything.
Still thanks for suggesting though!

Dangit.. Really thought that was going to work. But mode display changes the refresh rate. So sadly not the resolution.. I'm afraid I will have to buy a damn 1080p monitor just to have it work properly.. Thanks alot for all the help though.

What's that black stretch option under image control?

^ This and honestly, just look through the sub-sections of every option, except maybe some of the obvious ones you already know what they mean and what all options are available, etc.

I would look at the settings within the video sections on the PS4 as well, see if it has its own Aspect Ratio type of setting for how the output goes out to the Display, such as; Fit, Fill, Stretch, 1:1

I was trying to look at this online, but I keep seeing config screens for PS4-PRO now, which is not helpful since that has many more options the original (1080p) PS4 simply doesn't have.

Alright. Tomorrow I'll fully check out all of the monitor options piece by piece and also look at the PS4 videos and instructions. I'll make an update if it worked or not. Thanks alot!
