Ok great finally thank you
Yes but a SSD needs to be NTFS/GPT to use its full speed. With NTFS/MBR I ahve bootimes of 11 sec while with NTFS/GPT I go down to 3.6sec.
To have it right formatted by the OS installation you need to set your Bios to UEFI instead of legacy.
Actually no I built the system myself this is my first build I have just been getting problem after problem like the CPU temp idle at the desktop between 75-85°C for no reason I'm using a Cryorig H7 installing win 8.1 when apparently my i5 8600k only supports win 10 so some people say... And software problems like lan driver's missing and what not
Installing the latest version of Windows will probably fix a lot of your issues, especially if those issues are driver related.

read, understand, think and then comment...
He want to format the drive because he wants to reinstall the OS since he installed the wrong OS a reformatting during reinstallation of new OS is highly recommended.
Formatting a SSD under normal circumstances is not needed as it stored data other then HDD, but it also doesnt hurt if you do once in a while. You have already since long enough TBW of 400 times the capacity.
Id be more concerend with this first.
