Case fan question
I've got three 120mm YHS model: A1225M12S case fans that came with my DIYPC silence-bk case. I'm considering upgrading them to either fractal design GP-12 or R3. Both are low noise fans. So my question is would it be worth it to upgrade my current stock fans and if so would I see a possible performance increase in terms of thermals?

Probably not if the existing fans are spinning.

I barely noticed any thermal differences between the fans that came in my case and the premium ones I bought. Stick to the ones you got and add another one if you've got thermal issues

I put in a Cooler Master Jet Flow for a intake fan and couldnt be happier with the results. Exhaust fans are all CM Excaliber x3.

You'll have more luck putting a fan at the top. Either through the top mounted one or rigging one in the 5.25 drives.

Air is better off in a straight line. So if you want better cooling, it's better to install a fan directly in front or above what you need to cool. A better fan at the bottom won't make your cpu cooling any better because the air would've already lost pressure trying to go up or getting inhaled by your gpu.

Unless they are very noisy already out of the box; I'd suggest just keep using those until they die, then replace them. Changing out a couple of fans for ones very similar will not make any real differences.

As far as RPM based noise due to speed, well control all your fans yourself, which you can easily do via Fan Controller or Motherboard headers.
