Oh thats not so true. Once Volta releases the price of the Ti will drop radical. And buying it then new would be with the cost of 1080 in the end cheaper espacially when you sell the 1080 then. And there alot enthusiast (like me) that will buy the Volta and sell then a not even 1 year old 1080 Ti for real low price (according to my estimation aproximatly 350$ for mine).

...on the other hand I would always take Samsung SSD anyway :D. And consider a full ATX Z270 Board.
