Only way I could think about where it works fluently is a pc with drive bays that you would switch befor booting.
Just make sure you change your password regularly.
Or...if you want to go that unnecessarily complicated route. Just set it to ask where to boot from at startup.
Third option would be to setup win10 on some flashdrives. And have each of you have your own.
Once finished setting up the 2nd OS, power down and connect both drives.
Then you select your default boot drive in BIOS. If you want to boot to the other HDD on boot from time to time, use the boot options hotkey.
If you're the main user though I'd recommend just making a seperate user account without admin priveledges.
It has the bonus of being absolutely free too.
setup an OS on a slow flash drive? well if you dont care for speed or minutes for booting go ahead...
It'll run you a good $50-60 for one though, You don't want to run your os on a cheap dollar store drive
Then you need to not share a PC with such people, period. It puts u all at risk.
Problem solved. No cheating thatll affect your steam either.
remove sata data cable on hdd1 and install another windows, games, and programs on hdd 2 for brother.
reconnect sata data cable on hdd1.
when choosing what drive to boot from, some mobo requires pressing function key (F8, F2, etc) so that a menu will appear what boot drive to boot from.
do not create another windows user account when you are not sure that the other user (brother) does not use cheat engines.
if steam discovers a cheat engine is used on the pc, you will likely both get banned.
I dont see why steam would ban him? If it was based on his ip hed be screwed either way.
It was based on his mac it would be the same for both users.
Having another account with restricted privledges is the way to go.
