If yes: Boot in to safe mode and remove the drivers.
If no:
- Try the PC on another monitor/TV with another cable.
- Remove the GPU and try booting with the Intel HD.
I tried dragging my t.v. over with a DVI/HDMI adapter cable hooked up to the tower and the t.v. It wouldn't take the input either.
Select Safe Mode > Restart
Once DDU loads up go to Options, select option to Delete/Wipe all Monitors.
Now click each of the 3 GPU brands and "clean but do not restart"
Once all that is cleared out, click Shutdown.
Disconnect any connections from Intel GPU (Motherboard) for any Displays
Connect to the NVIDIA GPU (DVI-D, HDMI, DP) no adapters.
Now try booting up.
Once in Windows Desktop, download the latest of the following and install one by one.
Intel Chipset INF[downloadcenter.intel.com]
Intel HD Graphics 630[downloadcenter.intel.com]
NVIDIA Desktop Geforce series[www.nvidia.com]
For NVIDIA, do custom and only install Forceware and PhysX
Try another cable
My resolution is effed but I'm assuming I can fix that when I'm done.
Also tried to download the NVIDIA drivers and my computer went black, then it came back on after I thought the input issue happened again.
My computer notified me some driver updates need to go through and I'm going to restart now.
question, did you oc your monitor before this happened?
Okay, going to restart, hope this works...
Well, I'm disappointed and back at square one because once again, monitor refuses to acknowledge the GPU port's existence.
I had it disconnected when I rebooted and reinstalled stuff, but upon rebooting, input wasn't recognized so I was forced to plug the VGA cable back in.
