Alienware PC Fans
I manually set my fans on my pc to a higher rate than the auto. I works great until about 5-10mins later when I come back to the pc and the fans are shut down. When I use the cpu again the fans turn back on to what I set. Anyone know how to keep these fans on at all times?

Look for a setting in the BIOS that disables fans when idle.

I can't find anything in BIOS that will allow me to keep my fans on. Any idea what to look for?

CPU Fans
I have an alienware PC. I manually adjusted the fans, and it works fine. However, after 3 mins or so of inactivity the fans go back to normal. If I move my mouse the fans instantly turn up as desired. How do I keep these fans going continously so I don't have to sit near my pc all day? I looked in BIOS and found nothing.

You adjusted them with what exactly?
It really shouldn't matter, as long as the system is staying cool at all times.

Unless your system is overheating while idling, unlikely, there is nothing to worry about.

Nowadays most CPU, GPU and Case fans adjust speeds base on temperature using a curve method. When a component reaches a specific temp/trigger the fan speeds up when temp drops below a certain point they slow back down as they can provide sufficent cooling without the need to be rotating faster. Many GPUs actually stop spinning completely if the are not needed to actively cool.

Really doesn't matter. When idle it's not creating high temps so fans shut off as not needed for cooling to save power. Aslong as it's not overheating when idle there is nothing to worry about.

I used the alienware command center to adjust the fans.

I'm mining bitcoin and the temp of the gpu gets to be over 80, so I adjusted the fans so the gpu stays at 67 ish

Just use MSI Afterburner
