Very high GTX 970 G1 GAMING 4GB temperatures these days due to hot weather.
Here in Greece these days we have 43'c and noticed that during gaming gpu temperatures are 77 C. Is it normal for such high temperature that the country currently has? Can this hurt the graphics card or not?

NVIDIA cards throttle at 83C by default though.

But years ago it was also summer a very hot day like now and the graphics card burmed while gaming. It was in 2007 10 years ago and at that time i had geforce 7900 gt. And it got burnred a day with 40+c while i was playing a game that i dont remeber the name now. That why i am afraid . Let hope it will not happen again.

Modern cards will thermal throttle if they overheat and the PC will shut down in a worst case scenario to prevent damage to the hardware. So there is nothing to worry about.
