Gaming Laptop under 500$
I'm looking for a laptop to run games such as crusader kings ii and total war series but I can only spend 500$ or less.

You need to spend at least $1000 for a new gaming laptop. Look for something used with an i5 and GTX 970M.

there is a dell insperon with a gtx 1050ti for 800$
If you want a decent laptop to play games at about high settings, you're looking at $750 and up, so I recommend saving up, or else you be stuck what you paid for, and regretting for making an impulse purchase, if you cheap out for poor hardware.

If you can build a desktop, it can be a lot better, for similar cost of a decent laptop, but you be playing high / highest settings in games, but if it must be a laptop, save up, you will regret it for cheaping out on poor hardware.

Low presets, or custom everything to lowest it can get ingame, with screen resolution of 720p.

What Shadow said about building is also a good idea. I took an old Opitplex with a 2nd generation Core i5, slapped a GTX 1050 in it, and now I can play World of Tanks on Maximum settings with 4x AA.
Buy refurbished. I got an Alienware i5-6200u and GTX 960m refurbished for $450 USD. Could do gaming and medium setting (monitor is like 720p).

you got a link for that

cuz im sick of playing dammed Star Wars Battlefront II on all low settings on a ♥♥♥♥ laptop from 2014. The laptop is a garbage HP with a celeron *shudder.
Go to Dell website look under refurbished. They aren't always available. The hardware is the equivalent of Pentium g4560 and GTX 750 Ti, not too bad for a laptop that cheap.

never buy a dell ..your stuck with what ya buy .. build a decent desktop for 800 bucks that you can upgrade as you go
Alienware are now modular enough you can upgrade GPU. It's not an option to use desktop sometimes like traveling. I got a big desktop with i7-6700k and GTX 1080, it's like 11 kg I can't lug it around you know.

Yes precisely. You can't buy better at $450. I don't want to spend more if I do gaming mainly on my desktop anyway, savvy?
