Did I get ripped off and how should I upgrade?

Hi! When I was like 8, a sketch computer guy sold my mom a Cybertron Borg Q for $500.
The specs are:
Processor AMD FX(tm)-4130 Quad-Core Processor
RAM 8.0 GB
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 610
Did I Get Ripped Off? I started to realize, as I got older that minecraft is not supposed to run at 40 fps with all low settings and Optifine Mod to make it run quicker.
Also, What would be a good graphics card replacement? I am only interested in upgrading the graphics card because I am low on money at the moment and only really want a computer to run video editing and Cemu Wii U Emulator and Citra 3ds Emulator. I have about $100 at most.

Build an entirely new PC; there is nothing usable from this old "Media PC"

Things that need to be replace.

- CPU
- RAM
- Motherboard
- GPU
- PSU <-- Depends what model it is, you need to open the side of the case, and tell me what the model is, or take a picture of it and upload it to imgur.

Things that can be re-used

- HDD
- Case
- Keyboard + mouse
- Monitor

What I listed that you need to replace you need to work on, or have fun doing all that stuff you wanted with limitations. So you will need to save up a lot more than $100.

I just want to play minecraft a little smoother and play emulators at low settings, I'm not much of a modern gamer. Are you sure I can't just change the graphics card. I was checking my cpu on cpuboss.com and it matches the cheapest pc on pcmasterrace.com

but it's just minecraft. I don't plan on playing anything newer (in power) than the xbox 360 from 2005. Is there anyway?

Can't I just add your videocard from that link to my pc? My pc's cpu is about the same price as the one in your selection. Also the video editing one is just green screen and basic with occasinal motion tracking witch works on my computer but is just really slow. Forgive me if im wrong because im not that good with this.

Just get a GTX 750 Ti or GTX 1050 and clean install Win10 64bit
That PC will run MineCraft just fine.

This is getting a little confusing. CEMU is a Wii U Emulator and this video say it is running with a GTX 1050. I was asking if I upgraded to a GTX 1050, Whould this work like the video.

Again, even if you get the GTX 1050, the CPU will be holding it back for what it can fully can do... That CPU in that video is greater than what you have btw.

Its not great, but it'll be fine for what he's doing.

Surely no sense in upgrading that system. At least the GPU could be carried over to another system in the future. Once the OP has a better GPU, everything should be fine for what wants to do. Then after that, save up towards doing a brand new build, around Intel LGA-1151 or AMD AM4; then put the GPU into that system.
