Do Xbox ABXY buttons fit in PS4 controller?

Greetings,

I have and prefer PS4 controllrs, but games only show ABXY. I want my PS4 buttons to show ABXY for these games. Does anyone know if they fit? Or where to buy caps stickers or something?

each xbox button is a different height (pcb is not level with the face), and xbox/ds4 are keyed differently

you could order a set of red, green, yellow/gold, blue and put in them in the correct locations

This; it takes 15 to 30 seconds to remember the location of every button.

I hope OP never plays Arma, most of the keyboard is used, and keys have multiple functions.

Doing something like this would be the most practical, if you have problems with remembering.

Years of play on both makes it even easier to remember.

Also, I can play PS games on my PC with a 360 controller because the symbols are not only in my head, but their shapes make logical aesthetic sense -- very well thought out layout: the shapes literally tell your brain where they are.

Triangle = top. It's a pointing-up triangle. This end up.
Square = inside - like inside a box, or a house.
Circle = outside, like a circle around you, outside of you
X = bottom (don't know why this makes sense, but it does) the default input button.

AB XY on the other hand isn't as readily "seeable" in your head. I think the SNES had them reversed, too, from our current XBOX controllers. Or rotated 90 degrees.

But years of familiarity with both do make it easy.

I'm not even talking about years of play, I'm talking any new controller, or input device.
For fun, sometimes I just rebind all the inputs in my games to random keys on my keyboard, it takes like 30 seconds to adjust.

I wouldn't doubt it if there are companies on Amazon selling buttons for either controller.

If someone wants it, it's a good bet someone's making it and selling it.

I wish more developers would let me either completely un-bind the L-3 button (the stick button) or re-bind it to another button.

Who needs a damn horn in a racing game? And when I steer, and it's frantic, I'm honking my horn all the freaking time.

All those buttons available, and I have to crouch with the same stick I'm walking with. In Supraland, it's the Stupid Button, and can't be changed. When you're doing tricky platforming way up in the air, that L-3 button makes you butt-stomp all the way to the ground.

I hate that button in every game it's ever been used. It makes me madder than the Windows Key used to make me when it inconveniently crashed you out of every game on PC, while being stupidly located right next to all the keys you DO use.

learning the game and hitting the correct button isnt very hard on most games

but switching between ps and pc/xb is confusing, both use a blue x, but in different locations

Have seen a few DS4 on Ebay with XYAB but they were quite expensive. Quick search found a Youtube video that has XYAB buttons an the guy talking about what he did. XYAB prompts don't bother me as I got used to them so only watched enough to see Xbox buttons in a DS4.
