Polaris (RX 400/500) wasn't discontinued though, and the RX 470/570 can be found at very good used prices. Sometimes you can get an RX 580 8G used for around 120$.

The 5500 XT is effectively just another RX 480/580 but kind of pales in comparison to the 1650 SUPER.

The 5500 XT is effectively just another RX 480/580 but kind of pales in comparison to the 1650 SUPER.

Newer gpus generally just use less power, but output better performance over previous gens. Nothing new, new gpus are always that way.

from a 950 to around a 980
