Reason why to have my mouse enhance pointer precision off?

Feels weird when I use it to browse through web but I don't see any difference when I game like Valorant, Modern Warfare, etc. I know its mouse acceleration on windows but if its turn off in game there shouldnt be a problem with the one on windows right?

I don't think that setting has any effect in games. From memory it is to help navigation towards UI buttons within windows and browsers

It's essentially mouse acceleration and rather disliked if not despised by many users.

I disable it in system and in-game.
Those settings do not interfer with each other.

But the mouse is terrible in Windows without it enabled. It's as if you went from 1000 polling rate down to 100-250 as soon as you untick Precision Pointer.

That does not affect games in any way.

ngl it does. When in game it just have an increase in sensitivity. I guess is based on preference but should be turned off.

Depends on the game, some simply use the Windows input, some do it in a smarter way.

yes.it.does. csgo, overwatch and rainbow 6 siege are all affected just to name a few games. do you even bother doing any form of testing before making such claims? i might add SOME games dont but the ones ive tested DO.

Some games capture the inputs Windows throws at them, and some capture raw inputs.
