anyone know a good budget desktop or parts i could build one?
hello i have started to think about getting a knew pc since mine is trash! thanks!

The AMD Ryzen 2400G is a good starting point as it comes with Radeon Vega 11 graphics integrated.

Save up for a bit longer and pair it with an Asus B450M-A motherboard.

That said, it completely depends upon your budget and timeframe.

I'm afraid that won't cover a new PC of any kind. Would you mind sharing your current specs? You might be able to upgrade...

I'm sorry, there's nothing I can recommend that would make a difference. Not with your budget. If you can scrape to 600 you could build a new system, but that's really as low as you can go in 2018.

If your mobo support it 15$ for a core2quad q9400 and 120$ for a gtx 1050
You would be on a quad core which would be mile better than any core2duo and with a gpu. It will do fine for most game (can even play pubg at 45fps)

If you can reach 550 bucks, you can get a good build with a 1050 Ti, that can play all games at 1080p@60 medium-high settings.
It's better to wait and to get a good system tomorrow, than a potato today.

I don't think you can even by an inexpensive HP or Lenovo for $250. Like has been posted. You need at least $500 or more to put togeher any PC that is even capable of playing newer games.

Start looking carefully at second hand I guess you may find a bargain, failing that, it's either save a bit more or look to console's really.

The very cheapest build you could try would be https://pcpartpicker.com/list/R2tgzY it's not going to hit more than medium settings, but should play most games at lower settings and be fine for e-sport.

Hes still not going to be able to play any demanding games however as it does not have anything but integrated GPU.
