Help with BSOD/graphics card?

I tried to launch Princess Maker 2 Refine and my whole PC crashed to a blue screen that said system_service_exception and that the file that caused it was atikmdag.sys. I then got Code 43 for my graphics adapter. I updated my drivers, rebooted, and it got rid of Code 43. Now Princess Maker 2 Refine is acting like it's a first time setup every time I launch it and Steam suddenly wants me to log in every time even though it's set to auto log in on my home PC. I had to fix the color because my photos and videos were too dark. I did SFC /scannow and CHKDSK and while SFC /scannow repaired corrupt files, CHKDSK didn't come up with anything unusual. This is the first time I've gotten this error and I don't know what caused it other than it's graphics card related. Is my graphics card a goner?

Well, thats an issue with the graphics driver
Such issues can result from, faulty RAM, unstable overclock, high temps or an inadequate power supply.

First thing to try is downloading and using DDU in safe mode to clean uninstall the graphic drivers, then install the latest and see how it goes.

Ran DDU, it messed up my colors and I had to recallibrate the display again. Though that might just be because I like my videos bright.

I ran into a second BSOD right before running DDU. This one was caused by amdkmdag.sys and system was listed as the module that crashed. I didn't actually see the stop code here because I was feeding my cat.

I already checked for faulty RAM, no problem there. Stress tested the gpu until I felt it got too hot, no crashes. I don't overclock. Not sure if PSU is bad, either. What now?

In the future, change colors, brightness, contrast via your Monitor, not from the OS or gpu software. As a driver install can always wipe all that out if done from the OS.

Wipe with DDU in safe mode! Not in normal mode. Then reboot, don't install anything yet. Check device manager, if still code 43, its possible the gpu is faulty.
