Also, dig through about:config for other optional ricing. Blocking all html5 autoplay and autoloading, either through config or with an addon is useful.
Ghostery got bought out by another spyware company years ago. It's useable as long as you opt-out of all datasharing, but Ublock Origin's advanced mode covers the same ground just fine.
Same goes for Noscript. Ublock Origin's advanced modes handle scripts as well, but Noscript running in parallel for redundancy is useful.
