Windows Vista, lol. God I hope your hardware is just as old, or your screwing yourself over.
I will laugh at Vista, HAhahahahah. Enjoy your 11 year old OS.
> Laptops this new might not have Drivers for all hardware for older OS'
> Win7/8 will not allow Windows Updates on CPUs as new as KabyLake/Ryzen
Enterprise was never intended for Home Users using Home or Pro.
It is not an upgrade option. It's offered only as it's own stand-alone.
1) Download the latest Win10 64bit using the Media Creation Tool, you will need 8GB minimum USB Flash Drive. This will ensure that you now have a proper and updated backup of Win10 OS Media.
2) Download Win7 64bit ISO, you will need 4GB minimum USB Flash Drive, and the Rufus Tool. Once you download Win7 ISO, connect the flash drive you intend to put this on (it will need to be wiped clean. Then run Rufus Tool and make the following options/settings changes > https://cdn.ghacks.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/rufus.png (notice the CD Drive/Browse icon next to create bootable; select ISO as the option, then click browse and point to the ISO file; to avoid issues, put the ISO on the root of your local disk drive first, such as the root of C or other secondary SSD/HDD type)
3) In order to even boot to other Drives on newer Laptops, you must enter the BIOS and change from UEFI to Legacy/AHCI or it will not allow booting to other drives. Plus it is best to use Legacy BIOS option for older OS' such as Win7.
4) Skip Product Key entry during Win7 installer

Then you will have 30 day grace period for Win7, without a working/activated key.
Use this time to obtain/check/try-out the system with Win7 OS + Win7 Drivers...
That way if there really are horrible issues with that OS on newer machine, or lack of Drivers, you have already made your Windows 10 media to which you can clean install if needed.
