Headset buzzing and crackling
i have Windows 10 and headest ds502 from MSI (all latest drivers installed)
i've been using them for ~2 years and everything been fine

But this week i had a problem from out of nowhere headphones started to buzz like motor engine i mean it doesnt matter what volume i have on pc and doesnt matter if i play a video or music or nothing at all they keep that noise but when i touch wire and wiggle it a little bit i can hear headphones make that static radio sound like you searching for station Also earpads getting hotter the longer headphones buzz and if you look up google ds502 it has that volume adjuster on wire so it became hot when i touch it . So is it busted ?

sorry for lousy description , i am not tech savy :)

That crackling (especially when you wiggle the wire) sounds like a loose connection to one of the drivers--something that plagues many headsets eventually. If you were handy with a soldering iron (and assuming you *really* liked the set) it's probably something you could have fixed.

Drivers aren’t a physical component.

Oh no? What would you call a transducer with two terminals sticking off it, a "meta-physical" component?

He's talking about the physical tranducer that converts the signal into sound, so yeah, physical. We're not talking Realtek Windows drivers here, lol

It would’ve helped to specify between logical and physical drivers.

loose connection to one of the drivers

how does that not imply physical?

Considering the transducers aren’t actually drivers in this scenario.

Umm, did you really think that someone capable of using a keyboard would suggest soldering wires to... .... ...software?

I really can't believe this is the first time you've heard the terms "speaker driver."
