Reboot and re-test it. If Steam Client updated your games, that will suck all the RAM.
What's your system specs & OS?
And i dont know how to fix it.
Your CS:GO is barely taking a Gigabyte of RAM.
Could it be that your PC has only 2GB RAM? If yes, you may want to think about an upgrade if viable, or a replacement of the whole computer.
And alot of useless junk running in background too.
Download and run CPU-Z
Load it up and click Validate > tick Extreme-OC box > Submit
When web browser launches, copy and paste the web url address into here to share your specs.
Btw im not on a laptiop, nvm.
I have 8GB ram, the wierd thing is, it started when all those updates came and ♥♥♥♥, ive never had that problem before
Intel core i5-4460 CPU @3.20 GHz
Installed ram 8,00GB (7,88 to use)
65bit
Nvidia 970gfx
I just restarted my whole computer, and its still here.
I went to some tutorials how to fix it, but noone of them did not really work out.
Hit Win Key + R
Type in “Regedit” and then hit Enter.
Go to ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management’
Find ‘ClearPageFileAtShutDown’ and change its value to 1
Restart the computer
I did aswell scan for viruses and ♥♥♥♥, i didn't find anything.
Defragment Hard DrivesHit Win Key + R
Hit Win Key + R
Type “dfrgui” and press enter
In the new window click on the hard drives you want to defragment (Prefer the drive in which Windows is installed)
Click “Optimize” and follow the instructions on the screen to finish the defragment process.
Restart your computer.
The app gonna use whatever is there for RAM, thats what it's supposed to do.
Much of the stuff you have running is not needed while gaming
50 background processes is a bit much imo, personally i only have 27 background.
Do you have skype? Could u help me?
