Motherboard and CPU are at 89 degrees in game
So I have an asus rog gaming laptop, and the mother board and cpu are at 89 degrees in game (max) while the video card is at 80-85.
The storage (hard drive), however, is only 36 degrees celsius.
I am literally scared to play any games anymore because I might break my laptop.
Are these temperatures ok? If not, what temperatures are optimal?
What can I do to fix this problem?

Really laptops get VERY hot when gaming, you should use them for gaming for long periods, Try putting it on a wood table, Never on your lap or something like your bed.

make sure laptop vents are clean.

other than general dust-free laptop, you should consider getting a desktop pc with good airflow.

Using some form of VSync can help keep CPU/GPU cooler as well, since they won't be pushed as hard.

If your exhaust is on the side; they don't exactly work well, or at all if you exhaust is in the rear, which is pretty typical on designs from ASUS/MSI

Use external vans beaneath, boost labtop fans via BIOS, upgrade your system with software boosts. Choose environment friendly mode, in BIOS, for slower rotation/ function of CPU.
Check autostart and refresh it with only the nessecary programmes u need. Clear registy (boost software).
Cheers :Tie::steamhappy:
