USBdeview Anyone use this?

I've been using this to turn off my Klipsh speakers. There are three that you need to turn off. When i was turning them back on to turn my main speakers back on but i had a window playing sound in the back ground and it wouldn't turn on. I closed the window, but the icon button instead of being red was now pink.. I can't get it to turn back on aka green, If i turn it off it goes to red, but turn it on back to pink.

Under device manager the USB has a ! icon, and says Code 10 error. reinstalling drivers don't work. Neither does restarting. If i unplug the UBS and plug it back in, it flashed RPM-51m but then right back to a generic USB name.

Anyone have a clue what i can do to fix this?

check windows sound devices
disable all others you do not use or have speakers attached to

windows by default will use the last plugged in or enabled, and should go back to previous when the current one is unplugged, but often messes up

That is not the issue. I used a program that manually deactivates the USB and i can't get it reactivated. It's a registry issue that i can't get working right. i think it caused a bug by having the sound in use when i tried to activate it and now it is not registering.

Delete the registry entry for that usb device, then uninstall device from device manager, then reboot.
