Digital Edge F1 Sim - Gameport to USB Issue

I Have a Digital Edge F1 Sim Wheel and Pedals. circa 1995. It has a Gameport and I have bought a Nest USB adaptor. However I am unable to work out any setting that will work particularly with the steering. Does anyone have a solution for settings, other than buy a G29. Hope someone has has this issue and fixed it. Thanks David_F1
