Can you remove the keys and gently clean it? What kind of keyboard *rusts*?

Again: what kind of keyboard rusts? I've never had a single one that could possibly do so. Are you sure it's not just *crud*? Just pop the keys carefully off, use a bunch of q-tips/swabs and rubbing alcohol, and clean it up.

its really a rust man its brown and when i rub it off i see the metal the paint is gone uhh and btw is there any paint that can coat the keyboard because i wanna remoe all rust and paint it black again. i got a hyper x alloy fps keyboard

I wouldn't suspect rust. I've got my HyperX keyboard wet a few times and it's made of same material which isn't rusting. If for some reason it is, odd, but if it is then slapping some paint on it wouldn't solve the issue as rush spreads below the surface.

A rust inhibitor should stop the rust spreading. Won't smooth it out but stops the spread. Also turns black so no need to paint afterwards. I've used this on cars for years. Just be careful not to contact other things as it'll turn them back too.

I'd treat it first and leave it 24 hours and then use a wirebrush or similar to scratch off the bubbly rust then re apply. Keep in mind this will scratch everything you touch so don't expect a 100% smooth result....

Keyboards aren't made of metal. So it's highly unlikely to be rusting. They've been made of plastic and whatnot for decades.

HyperX Keyboards like the one OP has and the model I use have a Solid-steel frame.

So technically it's a rustable metal but the painted coat should protect it. Plus it's not like it's outside and getting wet for hours everyday. Cars go years and years before they start to rust and it's caused by wet environments and particularly when mixed with the Road Salt. First time I've ever heard off a keyboard rusting though.

Honestly I suspect it's more likely something they spilt on the keyboard and dried there. It may look like rust but actually it's some food/drink substance so a thorough clean should be all that's needed. But as OP is adamant it's rust I responded to that.
