Intel hd control panel question (about "override application settings" checkbox)
In Intel HD Control Panel, there's a checkbox in the Display settings labeled "Override Application Settings"; what's this setting supposed to do? I can check the checkbox, but when I click "Apply", it causes the checkbox to uncheck. Is it supposed to do that? What's this setting supposed to do when it is working as intended?
I presume it's for running games at lower resolutions than what the game supports... Is that correct?

the setting forces the gpu to use the setting in game or whats picked in the control panel options

good example, if vsync forced on in control panel
off ingame + on in control panel = on
