all of the same size have the same mounts
you can measure the spacing and add about 1cm to see what size fan it should take
Just for clarity, do we measure from corner to corner?
Get a ruler measure Horizontally or Vertically doesn't matter. Edge to Edge.
Idk why you have to measure, look at the specs sheet of your case, it should list what each fan placement accepts for size(s)
I bought a standard 120mm fan. It didn't fit. The old fan was also 120mm but did fit.
Turns out. The old fan had an adapter on it and once i placed it on the new fan, it fit.
I had never even considered that a piece of the fan came apart. It fixed the hole problem. I guess neither fan was meant for the case but whatever the adapter came from/with, was the solution for this case. The case itself is ancient so yea.
What's the measurement between the fan screw holes on the case?
